Otley Chevin By James Bywood, West Yorkshire Landscape Art Print

The Chevin is a lovely wooded hill situated to the north of Leeds, just outside Otley. James and his family have walked the paths for many years and have very many fond memories of exploring this lovely spot through all the seasons of the year. This print captures James’s wife and son as they walk along one of the avenues of trees on The Chevin. The wall on the right of the picture is known locally as the Wacca Wall, built quite unusually by standing stones on their ends to keep a local farmers sheep from falling down the steep drop beyond. The tranquillity and calm of the tones really creates a sense of depth and exploration as one pours into the details of this artwork. The dimensions of this print are 60x80cm (Rectangle Compositions) or 50x50cm (Square Compositions) please note that the external dimensions on framed products are a little larger. The external measurements are approximately 65x85cm or 55x55cm.
